With a Petes win (or North Bay/Niagara loss), Petes can clinch playoffs at Family Day matinee
Peterborough, ON — On Monday, February 20 at 2:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, the Petes will continue their drive for first place in the Eastern Conference with a game against the Sudbury Wolves and top 2018 NHL Entry Draft prospect David Levin.
If the Petes win on Monday, or if either North Bay or Niagara lose their game on Saturday night, Peterborough could be the first team in the Eastern Conference to clinch a spot in the 2017 OHL MasterCard Memorial Cup playoffs.
The annual Family Day game is being played in support of Five Counties Children’s Centre. During the game, Five Counties and supporting sponsor ServiceMASTER Restore will be distributing giveaways, running Kids Zone activities, providing entertainment during the intermissions, and will be running a fundraising chuck-a-puck with great prizes available to be won.
In addition, following the game there will be a free post-game skate with the Petes. All Petes players and coaches plan to participate in the skate and will be signing autographs, with the skate open to anyone with a ticket to the game. Fans must bring their own skates and helmets to the event, and are encouraged to leave equipment in their car (if possible) during the game.
Tickets are still available by visiting the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office online, in person, or by phoning (705) 743-3561.
