GAME PREVIEW: WEEK 6

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Soul (4-0) look to remain undefeated this weekend as they host the Baltimore Brigade (1-3) on Saturday, May 13, presented by Judge Group at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on 97.5 The Fanatic and will be aired on tape delay on TCN.

This will be the second time in Arena Football history that these two teams will face each other. The Soul will try to defend their perfect record, while the Brigade are eager to bounce back from a loss against the Tampa Bay Storm in Week 5.

The first match-up to watch out for is between Soul WR Ryan McDaniel and Brigade DB Qumain Black. In their last meeting, McDaniel recorded eight receptions for 123 yards and five TD’s. However, Brigade DB Qumain Black will be on his guard to cover McDaniel because of the Week 4 performance.

So far this season, Black has collected 14 total tackles, three pass breakups, four passes defended, and one interception for 13 yards
The next match-up to look out for is between Soul DB Dwayne Hollis and Brigade WR Julian Talley. Hollis is one of the Soul’s greatest weapons on defense. In four games, he has recorded 17.5 total tackles, one pass breakup, four passes defended, and three interceptions for 47 yards this season. Brigade WR Julian Talley will have to work hard in finding an open space in the backfield. Talley has recorded 15 receptions for 296 yards and five TD’s this season.

Lastly, QB Dan Raudabaugh will face off against Brigade QB Shane Carden. So far this season, Raudabaugh has completed 76-of-119 attempted passes and 23 TD’s. He ranks high among the league’s QBs with a 117.9% QB rating. Carden has completed 85-of-134 passes and 20 TD’s. His QB rating is 106.9%.

In Week 7, the Soul will host the Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center in our Military Appreciation Night presented by Sabre Systems. This game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports and 97.5 The Fanatic.
