LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Today, Bats President Gary Ulmer announced the promotions of two Louisville Bats staff members. James Breeding, Vice President of Business Operations has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Scott Shoemaker, Vice President of Operations has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. “We are pleased to promote both James and Scott into these positions,” said Ulmer. “James will now oversee most of the day-to-day operations of the business.”
“With Gary Ulmer, James Breeding, Greg Galiette and Scott Shoemaker, we have in place a very talented and experienced management team,” said Owner and Managing Partner Stuart Katzoff.
“I am very grateful and appreciate Stuart and Gary giving me the opportunity to have this leadership role with our organization,” said Breeding. “We have a great leadership team and it is a very exciting time for us with stadium improvements, the Reds exhibition game and the ACC Baseball Championship.”
The Bats will host the Reds exhibition game on Friday, March 31 at 6:15 p.m. with Opening Night on Thursday, April 6 at 7:05 p.m. The ACC Championship will be held at Louisville Slugger Field for the first time from May 23 – 28.
