Anthony Walker named Atlantic Division Player of the Week
NBL Canada names Anthony Walker of the Cape Breton Highlanders Atlantic Division Player of the Week for week ending February 12, 2017
Walker, a 6’9″ forward who played collegiately at Texas-Arlington, scored 19 points and pulled down 18 rebounds in Cape Breton’s only game this week, a shorthanded 91-88 upset win over the division-leading Halifax Hurricanes.

His play is amazing, everything that we were looking for a big to come in and get us over the hump, Anthony’s been all that and more.”
Juan Pattillo named Central Division Player of the Week
NBL Canada names Juan Pattillo of the Windsor Express Central Division Player of the Week for week ending February 12, 2017
Pattillo, a 6’7″ forward who played collegiately at Western Kentucky, made a big splash by averaging 15.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and nearly four assists in Windsor’s three wins this week.
“Pattillo may have been the spark to turn the Express’ season around,” said Chuck Miller, NBL Canada League Statistician. “With his ability to play offence and defence well, Pattillo has a chance to be a big playmaker for Windsor as the season progresses.”
