LEAVING THEIR MARK IN SAN FRANCISCO The New York Cosmos have a 1-1-0 (W-D-L) record against the San Francisco Deltas. The Cosmos were victorious in the first-ever meeting with the Deltas, earning three points at Kezar Stadium thanks to Emmanuel Ledesma’s stunning 69th minute chip. The midfielder scored in his Cosmos debut.

ROAD RECORD Since being shut out in their first road game this season (0-0 on March 25th vs. Puerto Rico FC), New York has scored in seven consecutive road games (4W-2L-1D) – the second-longest such streak for the club since the start of the 2013 season. The Cosmos scored in nine straight road games between May 17 and Sept. 28, 2014.

NASL PLAY OF THE WEEK Cosmos midfielder, Kobi Moyal, earned NASL Play of the Week honors for netting in the third goal in New York’s 3-1 win over Miami FC. Coming off the bench in his NASL debut, Moyal went on a solo run that culminated in a low, driven shot past goalkeeper, Daniel Vega.

NASL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Midfielder, Eric Calvillo, was named NASL Player of the Week after scoring two goals in the Cosmos’ 3-1 victory against Miami FC. Calvillo opened the scoring in the 64th minute, smashing in the rebound after Ayoze’s penalty kick shook the crossbar. The 19-year-old then restored New York’s lead 10 minutes after Kwadwo Poku’s 69th minute equalizer, powering a left-footed effort from outside the box into the bottom left corner of the net.

NASL TEAM OF THE WEEK Cosmos midfielders, Eric Calvillo and Kobi Moyal, were named to the NASL Team of the Week for Week 1 of the 2017 Fall Season. Both players had an outstanding performance in New York’s 3-1 win over Miami FC. Calvillo bagged a brace, while Moyal tallied a goal and an assist in his NASL debut.
