Scouting the Mastodons (8-36): Fort Wayne is coming off a 14-7 win over Omaha on Sunday. Every starter recorded a hit in the game. Jake Weber went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and one run knocked in. A six-run fourth allowed Fort Wayne to rally from a 5-2 deficit.

Scouting the Cardinals (25-22): Ball State is coming off a three-game sweep of Toledo last weekend. They won Sunday’s game in a walk-off fashion, 7-6. Sam Kennedy leads the team in hitting at .346 with 106 total bases and a .573 slugging percentage. Just behind Kennedy is Matt Eppers with a .345 mark and five triples.
