Indiana set to open 18th WNBA season on West Coast

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever tip off their 18th WNBA season Sunday in Seattle, opening the regular season for the first time on the West Coast. It is just the second time in club history the Fever open a season with consecutive road games, traveling to Phoenix next Wednesday prior to a home opener on Saturday, May 20 against the Connecticut Sun.

Two-for-one tickets for next Saturday’s Opening Night Delivered by Papa John’s are available by visiting and entering offer code: PIZZA. General admission tickets start at $13, with the first 5,000 fans receiving a 2017 Fever schedule magnet and car magnet. Fans can save a $2 box office surcharge by purchasing tickets in advance of the day of the game.

Indiana’s 2017 roster is final for new head coach Pokey Chatman, following this week’s trade acquisition of combo guard Jazmon Gwathmey. Returning are eight core players from the Fever’s playoff team a year ago. Joining the team are five-time All-Star Candice Dupree, free agent post player Nadia Colhado and standout rookie Erica McCall from Stanford.
