Lady Rams Sign Alexander


FORT WORTH, TX – Texas Wesleyan University head Cross Country and Track coach Nat Amare announced the signing of Houston native Brianna Alexander on Tuesday.

Alexander comes to TXWES from Westbury High School in Houston, TX. The 5-3 runner competed under the direction of Elliott Myers, and had a decorated high school career.

The former Westbury Husky was a scholar-athlete, a Board of Houston ISD student award winner, and a National Honor Society member. On the track, Alexander was a USATF All-American, a Junior Olympic Medalist, and a cross country regional qualifier.

Brianna is the daughter of Brian and LaToya Alexander and has one sister, Layla. Alexander is an incoming freshman and will be majoring in Biology.
