KINGSTON, Ont. – Queen’s women’s rugby head coach Beth Barz along with assistant coaches Sean Dunleavy and Blake Wilson are pleased to announce the signing and commitment of five recruits to the Gaels rugby program for 2017.

Joining Queen’s for the upcoming season are centre/back three Hannah Daniels (Sutton, Ont.), centre Emma Frey (Uxbridge, Ont.), fullback/wing Kyra Maybee (Norwood, Ont.), scrum half Simone Oliveira (Oakville, Ont.) and flanker Thea White (Oakville, Ont.)

“We are delighted to welcome five experienced young women to the Gaels rugby family,” said Barz on the newest recruits. “The collective speed, rugby IQ and work ethic of these five young athletes is already quite high and we are excited to help them build on their skills and to help them reach even loftier heights as student-athletes at Queen’s.”
